that is probably your problem then.... The drivers side switch is a master switch that has the slave switch on the end of it. IF for ANY reason the master stops working, well hense by the name the slave has stopped working as well. Like I said they have their advantaged to the manf of not needing relays but are hell for anyone down the line. Replace your driver side switch and I bet it solves the problem on the passenger side. Sounds strange but trust me.
