I've had 03 Cobra rims on for several years now, but recently reinstalled the stock 17s with Nitto DRs for a track day coming up next month. Maybe it's the change, or the way the bulked up DRs look in the rear, but I'm liking the way they look. Fronts look little small with the stock 245/45s on there, but overall think they look pretty good, especially for stock rims. What you guys think? I'm hoping to get the car in the 13s with them.

I think those drag radials make the stock wheels look much more aggressive. Good luck at the track. O0

Agressive is a good word/description of them with the DRs on there. I'm going to have to get a set of matching Nittos for the front (just not DRs, maybe Nitto 555R extremes?. Those are the stock goodyear ZRs with ~25k miles on them, so they are pretty worn and worn out looking.

Ha, another Nitto covert. Congrats, man. I have Nitto's front & back and I love them. My car has a whole new attitude with them. Waaaay meaner. Your car looks great and I'm sure you'll be happy with them at the track. Of all the drag radials, Nitto's are the best on wet roads. I've been caught twice this summer with rain and had no problems. Go git 'em on race day. O0

Thanks for the encouragement and the kind words guys. I'll keep the bad weather in mind as it gets close to track day. If it looks iffy, I'll change the rears over to the cobra rims/tires, which still have good tread on them.

I've always liked that stock wheel. the polished wheel goes great with your bab, and the tires balance it out well. :)

yeah i acutally really like those wheels look great on there, like the rear tires. is that BAB?

Thanks, Yes it is BAB. Sorry didn't complete my sentence before. If the weather looks like it might rain at some point during the track day I will look to use my regular tires for driving there and throw the DRs in the back of the stang along with a floor jack to change over once I get there. I'm told they will fit in there, so that's the plan.
Definately makes me want to get Nittos for the front, but would like it a little wider than stock maybe 255s?
