dyno tune

what is a dyno tune and would it increase horsepower with my mods? which are k&n cold air and dumped exhaust. how much would it cost?

Dyno tunes are usually for more highly modified cars with aftermarket cnc heads, cams, power adders ex: superchargers nitrous and turbos. From what I hear our model stangs don't really benefit from a tune when they are stock. But I hear that it really helps on the 99 and up models.

so not worth it? what bout just a regular superchip? or sct tuner? would that do any?

I asked a local guy about dyno tuning my car a he said that it wouldnt be worth the money and to have him do it when I did heads and cam. Hes really knows his way around late model mustangs so I trust him.
