The low oil sensor drives me nuts too. All the useless stuff aggravates me.... If you check your fluids regularly (like a vehicle owner SHOULD), why do you need an idiot light? (Had to get that small rant out, now back to your regularly scheduled thread)

Idiot lights are for just that... idiots. (No offense intended for the original poster) Hell, if a driver doesn't notice knocking when their car is empty of oil, well, I'm not so sure the lights are going to help either. I can't tell you how often I see, smell, hear cars on their last legs and the people driving them being clueless while on their cell phone, doing their make up or eating fast food but don't notice their car screaming for help...
