Have you tried getting behind that gunk with some floss or fishing line?

I need to find some fishing line, I feel like the adhesive is still way to hard for it but Ill try it out as I cant see it damaging my paint like a razor would.

The adhesive may be strong, but heavy duty fishing line will be stronger.

Wear some nice gloves, wrap the line several times around your hands, and have at it.

Ill check this out later tomorrow, this sounds pretty serious and I know you changed your emblems and it came out clean so it must work!

The 3M eraser wheel will do the trick.
I had to remove some stick on vent shades on my Suburban.. It took off the foam and glue residue without a prob.
It comes with it's own mandrel and you use it in your drill.
I also just used it to remove a pony sticker that a PO had put on the car right above the Gt emblem on the fender.

3M eraser wheel ftw.. Used it to take the pinstriping off my dads Lincoln. It'll take that crap off. If you got a decent drill with some power, put it on high. Make sure the wheel isn't flat to the surface, kinda angle it a little to avoid messing up the paint at all.

Np dude. Idk why I didn't use my eraser wheel when I put my new edge badges on lol. Stupid me got a bright idea to use a flathead screwdriver and make some nice marks on the fenders lmao. All i remember is the stock badges were a b*tch to take off and they ended up coming off in pieces lol. Think I wanna change my badges to 5.0s idk!

*Face palming at some of the shit people spray on their paint*

Sent from bored/stroked iPhone

I know what you mean, I try to take every precaution to concentrate anything Im spraying to get this adhesive off to a very small area. My car has a shit paint job so I can't afford not to and if it did do anything Im sure my car would enjoy some new paint :D jk Im broke.
