I wash my car with lacquer thinner..wet sand it with bricks..buff it with newspaper and use paint stripper for rubbing compound

I know what you mean, I try to take every precaution to concentrate anything Im spraying to get this adhesive off to a very small area. My car has a shit paint job so I can't afford not to and if it did do anything Im sure my car would enjoy some new paint :D jk Im broke.

Shit paint jobs are more susceptible to chemicals..something to keep in mind

Yeah, thats why I've been trying to keep it in such a small area that if the chemicals would actually eat through my paint I would be able to cover it with an emblem per say lol. Probably not the best way to look at it but hey, it happens.

Pm me if you run into that..try the eraser wheel without chemicals..there's no need for solvents in adhesive removal

Good man..it'll only take like 10secs per side..once the adhesive is gone then move to the next spot..you don't wanna burn thru

Is there anything I should put on there when Im using the eraser wheel? Or do I just run it on each side and it will take it off?

ok man! Thanks for the info cause I'd be scared to use just that on the paint. I trust your word though.

I origionaly thought the wheel would damage the paint too. Nope. Not a problem at all.

I thought it would, but hey good thing I have this forum :)

Did you get it all taken care of with the eraser wheel?

Yes! It took a few tries but the eraser wheel took everything off, check out my build thread for pictures of the new emblems and all the work the eraser wheel did on that ridiculous adhesive.
