Yeah that sucks. There's a guy around here with a basically stock mach that runs like 12.5 but he has his own dyno, no fair.

I'd wait till the new mod motors come out in like 2010 or so ... aren't they suppose to start at like 5.8 and go to like 7.0 or something?

They are not doing pushrods.

09's with have a big bore 5.0 modular, just like normal, except big bore, the hurricane will debute in the F150, then in the stang in 11 most likely, it is capable of 7.5+ liters, will feature variable valve timing on both cams, direct injection, and variable length intakes.

The V6 is also direct injection, etc, etc. And it carries a base rating of 350 hp, you'll see it next year.

BTW, I didn't read it on the interweb, I've seen em with my eyes.

450 c.i. + 1 liter= 61 cubic inches. I'm not sure exactly, I didn't get to fondle it as much as I would have liked, but the guy said they were already running one at 7.5 litres.

It's mostly for the trucks, there's still a big market for big gas truck power, and Ford has dropped the V10.

Of course I'll happily take the handmedown :thumb:
