Any experiences (good and bad) with either the LubeLocker or Fel-Pro rear diff gaskets? I intend to change the rear gear oil and maybe even the diff cover and research has these two as viable candidates for the gasket. I’m familiar with Fel-Pro having used them in the past on previous vehicles and I like them. The LubeLocker is a new brand to me so I thought I’d ask about it.

Thanks!

I have the Lubelocker on my car and have no complaints. It doesn't leak...

Good to know. I was gonna ask about that.
I dont use a gasket on my transmission pan either
The rubber gaskets leak
And I have a hard time finding cork or paper type stuff
I ended up using loctite gasket maker 5015 straight up
I have also used it on oil pans and valve covers
Just like the old days
No such thing as a gasket
Gasket maker works good
I'm not suggesting you try it I'm saying that's my ways around no gaskets

This is the stuff I use to hold thin gaskets in place, it seems to work really good for me.IMG_20200703_140156943.jpg IMG_20200703_140215392_BURST000_COVER_TOP.jpg

It's sorta like rubber cement, but it's made just for holding gaskets and can be used instead of a gasket I'm some places, just don't overdo it with this stuff. It's like any other gasket maker, too much and it'll wind up in places you don't want it to be in at...
