that is the reason I love that color is its ability to look so different in different light conditions. Just a couple of weeks ago I was meeting up with my mustang club and a buddy of mine got out of his car and did a double take at my car, then me, then did a triple take. I told him that yes, it was me I had just shaved my goatee off(it was 5-6") but it shouldn't be too hard to know my car since its the only 94 gt in town with side exhaust... We were sitting on the shady side of the car(I was the first car in the lane parked and everyone was on the same side as me) at about 3pm so on the shadow side of the car of course it looked black, jet black actually and he asked when I painted it? I had to take the entire club to the sunny side of the car to prove to them it was still green and I had not done anything to it. The only written warning I ever got on the car was at night and he wrote black, I didn't correct him though just thanked him....

Car is green! It's not factory Ford paint anymore, it's been resprayed. It's a hair different than the factory stuff. But I still consider it DFG. Suspension consists of H&R Super Sport springs with 1/2 coil cut up front, untouched springs in the rear. No ISO's in rear. I'm running the lower poly ISO up front. KYB struts (fox fitment) up front and Strange 10 ways in the rear. Thanks all!

And Handz, I've never scratched my paint with a California duster. You may be a pretty good detailer, but I was a master detailer for 12 years. My paint stays on point.

I thought yours had more blue in it then mine did but just figured it was the lighting that was catching/amplifying it. I think if it were mine I would call it dark forest blue just to mess with people. It just sounds like one of the strange color names that would make peope think. We have a local road here named out grey street and that name has always perplexed me as what the hell is an outer grey if it isn't a color, and if it is what does it look like?

My suspension doesn't project an audible sound difference with or without the isolators. They do however enhance the stance of my rear suspension without them installed. It's an aesthetic thing for me. The function is worthless with my killer exhaust note.

I was gonna say... I had a DFG GT and it never looked THAT blue. It was a sweet color though how it flip flopped. Mine did often get mistaken for black at night time as well. Nice ride!

No way, Paint scratches so easy its ridiculous. One swipe with a california duster is death.

Switch to just wiping the car down with quick detailer. Much safer.

I think DFG is one of the most interesting paint codes ford ever made. Its like 3-4 different colors in the lighting. Your color may be repainted, but it looks almost exactly like mine under the same lighting...check it out.

My car has never been repainted. The only thing thats not reflecting blue is the s281 spoiler that was already painted on another DFG car, but looks like it was painted wrong.
