Well, I've been there. I spent about 3 years making bad financial decisions (i.e. buying two motorcycles I just couldn't live without, buying tons of motorcycle and mustang parts, computers, etc) and I spent quite a while digging myself out, which was not fun.

Unfortunately, now you are going to get the mod bug on the S197. Good luck curbing that desire!

lol... yeah honestly there is more of a chance of me trading it in on a used truck or something and paying cash for another SN95. Fortunately I am married with no kids and my wife and I have pretty decent incomes. Her car is paid for and we have no credit card debt so paying off my Mustang 3 years early won't be too difficult. Thats if i keep it that long lol...

Well I'm no math major but more like 3 years. Have you spent quality time in one? I know the retro looks are 'love it/hate it' but there really is no debate over the quality improvement. Yes they are heavier, I wish they weren't but Ford put most of that weight in the right place, chassis rigidity. These cars are super rigid and handle great even bone stock. Big shops like JDM and JPC are putting major R&D into the new motors. If you are a MM&FF reader, they recently had a 3v shootout and Justin Burcham came w/ in a tenth of an 8 second pass with his procharged 3v car.
