Ford Unveils 2013 Escape

As a 2005 Escape owner, I think this is atrocious. Interior looks nice, has the modern Ford touch but really not a fan of the new styling at all. I hate this "lets make our SUVs look like cars". Very, VERY disappointed in this one. Ecoboost engines sound nice though...

I think it's stupid. I liked the Escape (along with MANY others, trust me, I talk with our current escape owners when I work on their vehicle) and they dislike the fact that it was going to look like a crossover instead of a REAL suv. I really hope it crashes and burns, which isn't something a Ford employee should say lol.

I've seen pics of it and it looks better in those than it does in this video. And I like the direction Ford is going with the other 2013 unveils escept, I don't really like the new front end on the new GTs & V6s, but I like the new tail lights. That look should be saved for the GT500s.
Overall, I like it. But it is trending toward looking like every other mini-suv out there. Give it time, like most everything else that is a drastic change from what we're used to takes time to "grow on you". If you went to a showroom and looked at it up close, you may change your mind...

Now I REALLY like this one! I think in a hot color like Redfire or Screaming Yellow or a Cobalt Blue I would definitely like to buy one! I have seriously been looking at a Rav4 but think I may wait a bit now. An EcoBoost Escape...hmmmmsweet!

I drive an 2010 Excape as a company car and to me this one looks like it is akwardly proportioned. Don't like it at all from the outside. My small SUV pick is the upcoming Mazda CX-5.

On another note. Has anyone seen the Ecoboost ford Flex's? Some of those things are running 12's and they weigh more than my dad's f-250 super duty lol

Meh I liked the old looks a lot better, i agree these crossovers are stupid. The ecoboost is sweet though, that thing would haul pretty good!

I thought they were replacing that with the Kuga? Any rate, I'll have to see one in person to decide, definitely looks like a big Focus though but not as complete maybe? Sweet features though, and ecoboost options ftw. Ecoboost Flex is sick, it just lacks style.

its an entry level suv, who cares what it looks like? It isn't made to be the kind of car that will drop a girls pantys, it isn't made to go out hard-core off roading, it isn't made for racing....

As they said before I hope fords engineers are working on the ext of cars that people care about what they look like.
