They will fit... but they wont have the provision for the 94-95 EGR tube. If you dont have EGR or have it deleted, then nothing to worry about. However, Im not a fan of equal length headers...its a bitch to do plugs with them on, and they;ve been known to burn up plug wires....

Equal lengths are a BITCH to install and then you have to get an equal length pipe too etc...

im not talkin longtubes...im talkin equal length shorties....the different in unequal shorties and equal shorties is nothing more than the primary tubes(tubes coming from each exhaust port in the heads) are all the same length with equals...hence the name...with unequals they just come off and go to the collector and arnt the same length...yes equal length shorties are a little harder to install that unequals just because theres more tubing and it bends around like a pretzel...but the benefit is better scavenging because each cylinder has the same amound of exhaust tubing...

equal lengths are complete garbage ...dont waste your money even if they are cheap....your friend probley knows fords and thats why they are coming off....if there cheap you will get your cost out of them by buying plus wires every 6 months ....and the minute different you get from a unequal to a equal length is basically nothing ....headers really are not even worth doing unless they are longtube....your stock manifolds are a descent type of header if you were staying shorty...i say spend your money else where

ya well im gettin them for 60 bucks...and even just the chrome unequals are 180...so savin 120 in my book is good..and i have no where near the money for longtubes right now..plus my motors stock cept for the gt40 intake..as for knowin fords and him gettin rid of them..no.he got rid of them because he built a new motor for his pure street car, and he stepped up to longtubes..also for the plugs..my buddies got bbk equal lengths on his 95 and has been goin for 2 years without burnin any wires/boots..thanks for all ur info/advice...but i figure, the way the stock ones are so narrow at the flange, these gotta be better, plus mine are leaking right now with a stripped stud, and i would have to pull it off to get that stud out anyway..

Thing is, stock E7 heads flow like such garbage that those kinks on the stock headers really don't take anything away as far as power goes.

I still say stay away from the equals but if you're hellbent on them go ahead. Just be prepared for one pain in the ass install and the possibility of burnt plug wires.

if i were you i would get them in a heart beat. i found a deal just like yours for the same exact set of headers. bbk equal lengths off a fox body for about the same price. i figured i would give them a shot for that price. i was warned about equal lengths just like you are and when i put them on it was actually the exact OPPOSITE of what everyone says. obviously the people that are talking about them being a pita are the ones that have never used them before or are not at all mechanically inclined. the swap took about 4 hrs. i did have to jack the engine up a few inches but probably could have gotten away without it if i removed the tb. also took the battery out and took the 4 bolts out of the a/c compressor to get to the front bolts. i took all the plugs out and put them back in after the equal lengths were in and it took under 10 minutes for all 8. i custom cut my own plug wires and have the 90 degree boots on them before i did the header swap and have had them on for about 8 months so far without any burned plug wires. if needed i will post pics proving anyones thoughts about equal lengths being garbage. hell my neighbor who is also a mustang guy was suprised cause he heard the same thing that everyone is telling you. i say for 60 bucks definitely go for it and i ACTUALLY have experience with equal lengths, in fact the same pair you are asking about and they work like a champ. still no leaks. and they look cool under the hood.

its your cash, i say go for it, since your in college and short on cash. anything is better than stock. not saying i will buy a set, but if i was in your shoes, i would do it in a heartbeat. but on down the road if you change heads and etc., then i would ditch them for longtubes.

I have. Looked like a madhouse but this guy also had all the accessories and smog pump too. I guess every car is different, I was just posting the experiences of the guy who did have them. He had a hard time installing them and had some wire issues but then again he might just have been a moron lol.
