What condition is your interior now? May be easier to swap a black dash then start from scratch

Interior swap is easy. And no the Grey/Black has got NOTHING on a full freshly cleaned/new carpet/new upholstery black interior. Observe.

My 98 Atlantic Blue started like this when I got it in May.

I decided I hated it and this stuff wound up in my garage about a week after I got the car.

Gutting it took about 3 or 4 hours because I work slowly. Dash was WAY easier than people make it out to be. 9 bolts and she lifts right out. The pads unbolt from the frame so no playing with wires or HVAC stuff besides just unhooking. Steering wheel is very easy too with a $10 claw puller.

I had decided to do new upholstery myself so the old grey cloth seats went back in temporarily. In the next pic the car is sporting all the black interior panels cleaned up front and back and fresh out of the box TMI carpet.

Then it was onto the seats. I purchased new seat foams and vinyl TMI upholstery which is actually nicer than the cheap stock leather and I know this because my old 95 Cobra had almost mint seats at 41k miles when I got it, they still weren't as nice.

Moral of all of this is that:

1 - Black interiors simply cannot be beat and parts are out there now to make your car look pretty much factory new.

2 - I will not miss an opportunity to post whore out my car.

New edge seats will not match. 94-98 cars are true black with the color name ebony. 99-04 cars are charcoal and obviously grey when you look at them. You could just do new foams/upholstery like I did and have more comfortable seats than any stock offering.

Dam nice job car looks new. What it cast you to do

$450 for the interior pieces, mind you, I did not have to get new a pillars, upper quarter panels or headliner as I started with a two tone. $130 for new carpet from TMI and then the upholstery and foam was like $800 shipped which is the price of one good aftermarket seat.
