You guys are making me blush :)

Thanks for the compliments. I love it, and I can certainly deal with getting picked on. I have come to expect it. At the very least I can hold my own.

I loved building it, can't wait to build something else :D

I would run a supercharger if I did boost :D

That's a possibility. When I got a big bank I might build another block for boost. This one is well suited as n/a :)

I believe I can achieve that with a supercharger. I want power all the time, no lag. I know, I'm picky. I have room to be as that is imaginary for the time being ;p

lmao, you go ahead and buy me a super six long rod 4.3 and I'll be glad to put it in. a mere 8 grand capable of withstanding over 600 horse.

then buy me a supercharger and i'll do it ;p

no, I could buy a coyote motor for that kind of money. no transmission, unless I use the T5, but then no bell housing. Then I have to get a new drive shaft, computer, and the list goes on.

I did something thats the same motor but with a bigger stroke.
With the coyote I would have to finagle and do all kinds of custom bull I don't have the time, money, or patience to do to my daily driver. the car that can't be down for very long.

Thanks for the input though.

You can build a good 4.2L/4.3L cheaper than buying one from SSM. Or find a used built motor. (That's the route I took when doing the 4.2L.)

Going against the grain building a v6, man love, and small mammals heating their nuts, what a great thread lol. Congrats on doing something different and coming out of it with a clean install that works awesome.

Alright, little update.

here is the front brakes (13" PBR probably off a mach) and the SVE lowering springs, and prothane bushings everywhere. Only the body side iso on the front, both iso's in the back.

While in there we did the inner and outer tie rod ends and ball joints.

There is no coating in the center of these brakes, and the calipers don't grab the whole thing, that's my only complaint, the rust. I am going to make it black.

Yes I know "rotors and paint zomgz he's crazy" I am a taping boss, and clearly the only area not being grabbed is rusty lol. The back was already done.

We also got bored and shot some "eye liner" on the front bumper. I hope Dal doesn't think I'm copying too much ;p

mygreengt, or Dillon, I was referencing Bonestock3.8, who is Dylan ;p

Thanks for the compliments :)
And yes they are slowly settling, every now and then I jam my fingers between the fender and tire and the gap gets smaller.

I think it looks nice, and it feels like a whole new car up front :)

if your referring to me as "Dylan," its Dillon, JERK!!

the springs should settle quite a bit more.

man if I were to call everyone a jerk that messed up the spelling on my name I would be ranting all day long. Half of my credit cards are spelled wrong even after trying to correct them....
