Gearbox removal.

Whats the favourite way for getting the AODE box out?
All in one, with the motor, or is it fairly straightforward to drop the box on its own? :help2:

if you work on cars it shouldnt take more than a day, i had mine out in 3 hrs ;D, longest part is dropping the h pipe, damn rusty bolts. Drop it out from the bottom. drop the h pipe, remove fleplate to torque converter bolts, drive shaft, cross member, starter, then the 8 or so bell housing bolts, then the biotch comes right out.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure its not impossible, so many v8's i've worked on, there's been little or no room to drop the box on its own.
