Gladly my G/F likes my Stang, she just doesn't like when I hit the gas pedal. She gets sick from that. I don't want her to puke into my car so I drive slow (mostly) when she is on the passenger seat.

lol, has she puked once in your car before?

Here we go again

sitting @ the drive thru at mc donalds
"baby, why you polluting the air like this? I mean i can smell it now and more when the top is down."

ROFL  doesnt matter to me. Not like im going to change it anytime soon for the hell of it.

The thing sounds to damn good to even change and thats why im keeping it. But no im cool... i dont need to find a new girl just because of this car problem. Shes been there as an CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE friend for a short time and now shes my girl now and that doesnt mean i should change up my exhaust just because of her. I mean i might re add the tailpipes to move the exhaust from under the cabin some more, but thats it. This exhaust actually makes me happy and when i re-added the cats for emission it was a boring car to drive for some reason.

gotta admit, the reason i no longer run o/r pipes is cuz my GF doesn't like the sound/smell

Never been in a stang with dumps so I couldnt tell ya, but friend of mine used to have a 4runner with the exhaust coming out right about halfway and that shit was deadly. We went on a trip once and it was cold so we had all the windows up and we started feeling like dizzy and legs falling asleep lol. Get side exhaust that would be sick kinda halfway between dumps and tails :dunno: just throwin ideas around lol.

I've got an h-pipe and dynomax ultraflows dumped before the rear axle, with no cats at all. The only time I catch a wiff of the exhaust is when I'm sitting next to a wall (IE: Drive through for fast food)

but i get a wiff when sitting anywhere for longer than a minute. I get a big wiff if downshift from 30mph in 3rd to 1st lol.. its smells so bad when i pull off a major downshift.

I just have mine unhooked from the flowtube and it sounds so damn good. People ask if its flowmasters ,but i say no because it sounds alot deeper and hasa more unique sound. You should see the surprise on there face when i say its MAC... First of all they never heard of MAC and they say wtf is mac. I thought only flowmaster made mufflers lol.

u guys lucked out, my gf, likes my car, but hates that i put as much money in it as i do. she would rather me spend that money on bills, and taking her out to eat, and buying her clothes. owell, my stang is the only thing in this world that actually belongs to me, and i figure if she doesnt learn that eventually then she wont be taking any more part in my life.

no tons of people seems to like it. They say it reminds them of the older muscle cars from back in the day.

I think I probably don't have a girl because of my car... I just spend a lot of time and money on the thing. :dunno:

Seriously . . . this isn't an issue about the car. This is an issue about the girl being a control freak and testing you to see how far she can push it. Looks like she's able to push it pretty far.

Get out while you can. It will get worse. MUCH worse.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing....only from experience. It starts with the car, then its where you go, who you're with, how late you're out, when you're coming home, wrapped around your finger, buying parts is stupid, ect.............and far worse with a few of my other friends ie: then you have a kid and....oh, car must go NOW!

Drive her past a few factories that dump exhaust and burnoff out of huge smoke stacks and ask her how your car relates to that s***.

My gf grew up around cars, her dad had a few T/A's and such so she has no problem with it. Headers, off road H and some Flow 40's....I've not heard the first complaint from her.

I enjoy letting the wife drive my stang, she gets on it alot, loves to hear the exhaust, and as soon as she gets brave enough to hold it down for the 1st to 2nd shift I'll be in a whole lot of trouble... When she turned 18 she bought a '95 GSX that thing was nice, I made her sell it... LOL those damn AWD are a bitch to put a clutch in, not to mention the timing belt an waterpump. Whenever she drives the Stang i tell her there's no replacement for displacement, she just tells me her car was kewl. yeah was.... lmao
