My wife is the owner of the car. I'm just the mechanic and driver. I go to work (manager auto parts store), come home and hop on car forums, talk to her about cars, go into the garage and work on our cars or sidework, play car video games, and watch car TV before bed.

If she wasn't into cars too (although, not as much as I am, at least she is normal and does some other things...), she wouldn't be with me.

If i sit still than mash the gas padel i get MAJOR.. i mean MAJOR wheel hop... it feels like the back end is going to break so i let off.

My wife likes my car, she doesnt care too much for the exhaust smell, but she would never tell me to change anything I didnt like on it. She knew I was into fast cars when we met, as I knew she was into shopping. If she doesnt want to smell it, she doesnt ride in it.

exactly my girlfriend loves my car she loves the rumble she loves how it looks she loves everything about it she just hates when i mash the gas without warning her lol.

Must be a modular thing! :bunny3: I can pull out normal in the '95 and then lay into the gas and it spins quite a bit. Oh how I love thou pushrods!

even with 285's i can be in first gear at like 3k and mash into the gas and the tires will brake lose... and my cobra is underpowered.

she just hates when i mash the gas without warning her lol.

my girlfriend hates the same thing. it scares her unless i tell her im doing it first.

my girlfriend doesn't like cars but she likes them A LOT MORE than when i first started dating her. she tells me my car looks good and takes pictures of other cobras and nice stangs when she sees them driving down the road to show me later on.

when we hear a car with cams and exhaust she says she likes the "openness and the blump blump blump thingy". haha so i asked her if i should get cams and she said yes, definitely, "its hot".. i ask if she likes the whine from the superchargers or turbo's and she says "that sounds gay".. then i say your dumb and she just looks at me hahaha...

i love her though, she loves my car and loves the loudness of it. she likes to shift my car when we are driving too. only thing she hates is i dont run the AC normally, i hateeeee running the AC.

+1 i, like a lot of guys i know, take there lady out for dinner, a movie, something like that every once in a while, and their females
dont complain too much. my girlfriend gets jelous easily, so at least she knows when i'm working on the car, i couldn't be cheating on her
or some weird bs like that. i dont mind either, because spending 24 hours a day with her and no mustang, makes me a little cranky.

Plus it really helped that she was at the time dating the guy I was racing for $5K..... she told him the whole time not to waste the money, but he was so arrogant he did anyways, knowing my car was a good second quicker. I gave him 4 cars and I took his money and his woman!!!! :dancing6:

kinda bitter-sweet w/ my fiance...

she gets nauseous cause of the exhaust dumps and says it's too loud.. she paid for my new a/c compressor and lines for my birthday, though =) she's also pretty proud of the work i've done to it, but wants me to sell it... to get an s197 (which i probably will in a couple months--finally putting my degree to work!).

guess i can't complain--she doesn't (too much, lol) so it could be worse.
