This is a nice 1970 Dart Swinger clone project to start with for $2200.00

Has original 6 cylinder auto. (Will NOW INCLUDE rebuilt 318 & 704 automatic. $2200.00 for all!)

Had bought this car to restore for my wife, but she wants a Mustang instead, ...and have found one!)

Hard work is done. Car is totally disassembled, ready for restoration, and has no rust in any of the underneath torque boxes, frame rails trunk, or floor supports. Very nice solid southern body.
Front floor pans were removed, because person we bought car from used them to restore another 70 Dart Swinger!
Luckily they removed them correctly, by drilling out all spot welds. This is very nice body with no rust at all on under side. Body came from southern state. (New Mexico I believe)
Just needs 3 floor pans reinstalled, ...and two outer quarter panels, they did have a little rust in them along bottom rear.
Inner wheel wells and inner quarter to trunk floor panels very solid. trunk floor solid, and upper inner fenders, radiator support, doors, fenders, and trunk lid in excellent condition

318 motor runs good, bought from friend who had it in a Challenger. Has chrome valve covers, and aluminum intake w/ 4 barrel carb. ( NOW $2200.00 with 318 motor and 904 automatic trans)

Have an original Swinger automatic console. Choose from bucket seats, or two original bench seats.
Door panels good. (Also have black vinyl die for door panels.)
Have all other interior parts, even including the seat belts and holders that mount on the ceiling .
All glass good, front bumper needs painting or rechromed.
Has stock rims. (Hadn't decided on dog dish hubcaps on stock rims or a set of Rally II rims.)
Have after market rear spoiler, (looks like original Swinger spoiler) and "Hemi" style hood scoop.
Holes have NOT been drilled in hood, so factory dual hood scoops could be installed instead.

Dart still has original 6 cylinder auto in the car. We even thought about hot roding that straight six! They can be made to run pretty hard, with a lot of aftermarket bolt-ons, ...and still be good on gas. Asking $1800.00 (Or $2200.00 with rebuilt 318 motor and good 904 automatic)
Thanks for looking, Mark and Donna

70 Challenger
For what's been done to the car already that's a good price. It's not a steal, but I don't think it's unreasonable either; it's just about right - the seller doesn't get screwed nor does the buyer.

70 Dart Swinger Clone
Ehhhhhhh. Tough. It's probably an okay price - I'm not sure how much a roller goes for. It's probably a tad high only because it's not actually a Swinger. This car is a great candidate for a resto-mod, where one modernizes a muscle car (rather than trying to get it original or parts-number-matching). Which means some of the stuff that comes with it (like the V6) is probably not necessary. Either way, it's going to require a lot of hard work (even though the ad states the hard work has already been done ;) ). Having said all that, it still might sell for that price only because it's so old and there can't be many of them floating around anymore. FWIW, assuming you can find it, a decent 70 Dart Swinger (not clone) with a V6 will run you around $7 to $10k, which makes the price of this (especially because of all the work and it's not a Swinger in the first place) a little tough to stomach. But of course, if you can't find a running 70 Dart Swinger V6 (who looks for those, anyway?) then you don't have much of a choice.

Not much respect for a seller that won't throw the trash out of the back.

Yeah, agree. I hate that myself. In the sellers defense he did say that he was photographing it as it was pulled from the barn, no surprises. He also said the truck will be cleaned for the next owner.

72 F350 Camper
Honestly, I don't know. I don't know much about trucks and campers. That could be a good price for that, although my first reaction is that it's too much. I struggle to get past the "Rare 1 of 1" bit. It's not rare. It's a F350 with a camper. It doesn't matter if it was factory installed or not. The fact that he thinks it's rare makes me think he's jacking the price up more than it needs to be. Just because something is "rare" doesn't mean it's worth anything. I had a Dr. Pepper can the other day with Iron Man on it, and it said "7 out of 8 collect them all" or something like that. I have no faith at all that can will be worth anything in 10 years, even though I'm sure it will be rare at that point. And agreed with the others, the fact that he left all the junk in it and says he'll "clean it later" just makes me think that if I were to show up to buy it he "wouldn't have gotten around to it" and that would be okay because hey, after all, he posted pics as is. All that stuff added up makes me feel suspicions about the ad, and thus suspicious about the price. It may be a good price though, I just don't know.

Good Buy or Ripoff

2002 Ford Mustang GT Roush 360R

Miles: 40261
Price: Bids on eBay are at 15K and reserve not met.

$_12.JPG

2002 Ford Mustang Roush 360R. For the uninitiated, the Roush 360R Mustang is an aftermarket car. Aftermarket tuners are teams of engineers who take a new, assembly-line car – in this case the Mustang – and enhance its performance in every way. Some manufacturers have in-house tuners, like the Special Vehicles Team at Ford or Mercedes’ AMG. Others, like Roush, are independent. But because founder and legendary racer Jack Roush has a longstanding relationship with Ford, this 360R was actually sold through select Ford dealerships. Roush claimed the 360R was the fastest car under $40,000. With 0-60 at 4.3 seconds and a 12.3 second quarter mile at 109 mph, It was a lot of car for the money at the time. Distinguishing the 360R from the outside is a “speed grill” and front fascia with high performance driving lights, Cobra hood, Roush rear wing, fender and decklid badges and significant racing stripes. Inside, the Roush stamp is on aluminum machined pedals and more badges. The world will know this is a special car. That becomes even more evident when you fire her up. Standard on all 360Rs is a 4.6-liter, single overhead cam V-8 that features a Roush engineered “Roots” supercharger. The 360 horses peak at 5750 rpm with 375 foot pounds of torque at 3000 rpm. Managing all this is the optional short-throw shifter that rips through five gears with a precise “click, click.” So tight is this shifter, the shift pattern is contained in a space no larger than the palm of my hand. Neutral is but a blip in the middle. You’ll love it. The Roush Stage 3 Suspension gives the 360R a predictably rugged ride. The big fat low profile tires suspension give this beast clawing tenacity and the kind of stability that becomes requisite when you’re dealing with so much force. It’s a worthy setup. And this 360R does deliver. Roush makes this Mustang wicked -- frighteningly fast and unapologetic. The kind of car you crave when you need to get something out of your system. This two owner Oxford White with Slate Gray interior coupe is one of only 80 built and with only 40k miles and has a clean AutoCheck. So, take control of your local turf today. Available only at Duffy's Collectible Cars!

02 Roush 360R
Rip-Off - but not. That's about the going price of Roush's. If one were to look for used Roush's, the supercharged versions tend to run around in that price range. So, from that perspective, the seller is right in the ballpark. On the other hand, that's $15K for a supercharged Mustang. For comparison, a 2002 GT with equivalent mileage will run you like $5 to $6K. You can supercharge it for another $3K and still have $6K left over to play with. On top of that, Roush's don't have special VINs. It will come up as a Mustang GT. So to "normal" people it's just an overpriced GT. If the seller is able to find a Roush fanboy/girl, then they have a good chance of selling it. For someone looking for a fast Mustang, there are much cheaper options available. It will all come down to whether someone wants to pay for the Roush name.

And if one waits a little longer, that price is starting to get close to used 2011 Mustang GT territory - with the Coyote engine putting out more power stock than that Roush, with a 6 speed trans, 9 years newer, etc. making the Roush Not So Desirable IMO.

Rip-Off. But only because it has a salvaged titled. A clean title 06 Ford GT with that low of miles will go for about $200K. But this has a salvaged title? For $198K? I must be missing something. A salvaged titled due to a minor accident? *Minor*? Minor enough for the insurance company to say the cost of repair was more than the worth of the car??? That does not sound minor to me. Soooooooo. Rip. Off.

Lowest i have seen was 260. Some as high as 500k. Particularly the Golf edition. I guess if someone was trying to save 50K sure..at that point why not just go all the way and get one factory perfect? For 50k no matter how good the rebuild why risk it? Rip off
