You should buy my stock intake, throttle cable, IMRC plates and controller. I have most everything you need for a swap

What are you asking for the stock intake,tb, and throttle cable?? Id like to delete the plates so need for the controller

The reason i kept the stock mark8 stuff was price.. i mean i payed $600 for the motor i find it pointless to spend another $500 for the stuff for the extra 10 hp..

I'll do 400 plus shipping on it all. You get the IMRC controller regardless. It's of no use to me lol. Going C head swap so I don't need it. My intake is complete, has the throttle bracket, and most of the sensors on it. I even have the correct EGR tube. I have some other parts as well once I get down to brass tax on building the motor.

actually its better then the mark 8 intake. the mark 8 just doesnt flow enough through the power band. food for thought. also, for future thought the 98 cams are better then the shorter duration profile of the Mark 8s. picture why most modders ditch those mark 8 cams and intake. i may not like 4v engines but i will not steer you wrong. Steven's price is superb.

my neighbor has had a 97-98 mark 8 sitting in his driveway for some time now because the air-ride went out. Too bad he wants too much money for it....

Yeah i know it flows better then the mark 8 intake(about 10-15 hp better) and i know that the 96-98 cobra (intake cam) is better then the mark 8, but the exhuast one is the SAME. I just did not feel it was worth it to spend an extra $500 on my swap for an intake manifold.. I had an intake/tb/cable/imrc deletes/gaskets lined up for $500 but ended up with a 98 motor.. My mustang is my dd that i enjoy driving im not lookin to make crazy power or boost it in the future, but thanks for the input

Thats a very common problem with them and the air ride is SOO expensive to replace!! Thats why most end up at the junkyard or for sale for cheap.. Just keep an eye out youll find one :)

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up Jason. I plan on reusing and degreeing the stock cams in a set of C heads, so I obviously intend to keep my cams. Either way, Boosted have fun with the new swap!

Have you made any progress on the engine swap?
Its funny that you ask.. well last night i was on craigslist and a local junkyard was clearing out there warehouse and i ended up pick up a 05 4.6 sohc with 80k miles for $250.. Im kinda stuck between both motors but my mustang is just my cruiser adn i think i might end up doing the sohc and selling the dohc :/
