Im trying to get my ugly bumper inserts off, and its impossible! Ive tried everything! Hair dryer, goo gone, wd-40, lighter fluid blah blah...I wanted to try to get that thing you put on a drill and use that, but of course nobody has them around here. I really dont have the pateince to sit in the cold garage and pick at them all day. Is this hte only way to do it?? Any other things I can try??

i would think the heat gun/dryer would be the best bet to loosen them up...looks like old fashioned elbow grease is the only way...get to work.

Thin fishing line or dental floss. Use it like a saw, start at top, work your way down. Use balls of your thumbs to rub off residue on bumper.
Need to do same myself, haven't done it yet but this was the info I got from several sources.

    Good luck.

Try using a small, thin, soft tool to get them out....your penis will work :D

That'd work, but since these are bumper inserts, its kinda hard to get the fishing line into the grooves.

    :rolleyes2:

You are talking about the SS letter inserts on rear bumper? :dunno: M U S T A N G

If so, this is the way to do it with a length of line held on each end.

    Right...got it. :hammer:

Based on your 1st post and the pic in your signature I assumed they were the SS letters.

    Good luck.
