Just bought some gt40 heads for $ 50.00 bucks they need to be clean I don't know what springs are on them what's a good combo for my car.all I have done is full exhaust pulley s cold air intake.373 gears.so when I do the heads there we'll be a cam going in and a gt 40 upper and lower intake with a 70 mm throttle body.thanks for your input

24# injectors wouldn't be a bad idea, what kind of cam were you thinking about? You might need a tune If you want it to run perfect

TFS Spring Upgrade, 24lb with a Tune, 1.6 or 1.7RR, TFS 1 Cam. Since your going to have that all apart get a FRPP Engine Gasket kit and replace everything you can.

That Combo is a Proven Combo.

Don't get your hopes up on a set of unworked GT40's. I would stick with a TFS 1 It's one of the better OTS cams out there with the combo you have planned. If you can happen upon a Wolverine 1087 Cam snag it up. As said by jay allen and quite a few others. It was the best OTS cam when it was released and i would think it still is. I Was going to be doing a Similar combo you were doing at first then i happened upon a V1 S-Trim that i just couldn't pass up.

Look into my Build thread if you want and you can see the responses that i had with the One i quoted. I would say about 260-280 rwhp. I wasn't even going for a specific # i just wanted everything to go well together.

It will sell within hours. There highly sought after! The guy that i got mine from it was only listed for 30 min and had i think 8-9 hits. I luckily was the first to contact him and snagged it up. Mine should go nicely with the Crane Cobra 1.7RR's,ported gt40's, TFS Street heat and a V1 S-Trim :)

It might be looked in to getting them worked, just check around locally and you might find someone cheap. I looked on a local racing forum by me and the charged 250 to port out my lower intake and heads. Just my 2 cents.
