ok im going to be doing this swap over winter so i wont be in a rush, but i have couple questions
would it be worth milling the heads down about .025''
would this rocker arms just bolt right now? http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=CCA-RP1450-16&autoview=sku
i heard that you should also rebuild them but i was looking at springs an i dont know which ones should i go with, im going to be using a steeda #19 cam.
pretty sure i will have more questions later on, hopefully have the heads in shortly so i can rebuild them before i rip into the motor

Best thing to do about the rockers is talk to a sales rep from summit, to make sure they will bolt right in

Are these GT40 Iron heads or GT40 Aluminum heads?

If they are an iron GT40 head any Pedestal Mount rocker will work. The 1.7 Pedestal should work fine with the Steeda #19 but I would check with Steeda to make sure.

As far as the best springs to use with the GT40's...I rebuilt my last set with the Trick Flow springs for Small Block Ford Cast Iron Heads.

They are good up to .540 I believe and have Chromeoly retainers..I think they sell for like $120..very good deal.
