Guess my cars weight!!

Got my car weighed today.


Im running greg welds all around, alum block, gutted trunk, no backseat and its a 96 GTS

But its also an auto and have the extra weight of the blower/ etc.


What do you think it weighs?

Yea, you would have been lol



Not too heavy considering the auto and supercharger kit add some weight

go with a lighter drive shaft and that should help make up for some of it.

take the front sway bar...and strut tower brace thats free..and it lightens the front end up about 35-40 lbs.

lol...Ive had the strut tower off forever.

Ill probably leave the sway on untill I go to the track.

It makes the car so unsteady when that things off..lol

But it should be worth 20-25 lbs and help the front end raise up

i couldn't really tell a difference in the body roll once i lowered the car..and judging by your sig you've got yours lowered about 1.5 in the front and about 1 inch in the back..

lol...Its probably more like 2 in the front and 1.8 in the rear

I dunno, Ive had mine off and felt a noticable differance in body roll...

Maybe my shocks/struts are beat.

lol my car was so low that when i put the long tubes on i had to buy lowering springs to raise it back up hahahaha
