I think I win... I have to lug around an old 60's gas cap just to not loose my keys. Lol

I'm really glad my key fob has the pony under the buttons. I guess that went away after 1996. Just one of those little awesome touches like the perforated door panel inserts the 94/95 Mustangs had that went away in 96.

I wish someone made a 96-98 GT emblem keychain like Deeplist's Cobra one. Totally want that on my keychain.

And I just found this old lanyard and keychain from when I was about 8yrs old. Never thought I would ever actually own a Mustang. But this should keep me from losing my key again...

What year did they start chipping the keys? I thought it was 99 with the NE's but GMS has a chipped key and he drives an SN... I know they changed them again in 05 with the 197's, and then again for '10? The '14 keys are pretty sweet tho, but VW had been doing that for years lol.. Only thing is it would make key replacement REALLY expensive

When I bought her in 97 ...Some Ford Dealerships around the Country was offering an Upgraded Ignition System/Key.Low Jack..ETC...For Insurance Discounts...and that helped alot back then For a Convertible...Not to mention I was only 26..That was still high risk area :)...Strattec has some good products...
