hard water spots on window

ok so my car was in hawaii for 5 years and in those years the window has accumulated alot of hard water spots that i cant seem to get off. at night they really f*ck up my vision . i have tried all window cleaners, i have even tried heavy duty cleaners....still nothing.

anybody got any ideas? :violent1:

You can try a good glass polish. It's pretty course kinda like a heavy cut polishing compound for paint.

use a cleaner or mild cutting wax. then use window cleaner. if that doesnt work wetsand it, works great.

Use a dirty clay bar that you don't want to use on paint anymore.

ok so i went to a detail shop and they told me to go to wal-mart and get a pack of industrial grade steel wool and a rubbing compound. i did it and it worked.

i tested it out on my side windows first and found that if you push to hard you can scratch the window, so if you just slowly work it in it works awsome!!!!!! so if anyone has the same problem here is the solution!

I have encounter this before. Clay bar and polish should remove the spots. Remember to wax your windows and clean then often to keep the spots from coming back.
