lol yea...I'm cleaning my car once again, but this time a friend of mine let me use his variable speed buffer. Here are some pics of my progress so far...

Believe it or not I had quite a bit of swirls and whatnot!! lol

haha thanks!

I will try and snap some pics today. I didn't get done till it was just about dark, so I figured pictures would be useless.

The car came out AWESOME...I want to get my own buffer, now lol. It was pretty time consuming, but it was definitely worth it!

what else did you use besides the buffer

I used 3M Foam Polishing Pad Glaze for Dark Colors on top of (ofcourse) a foam pad

here are a couple pics of the car I took today

Don't mind the things that look like chips/scratches on my bumper...a girl at my work backed into my car the other day in her 250 :crybaby2: :BangHead: :angry4: :boxing: :violent1:

It's not too noticeable, but I didn't have my driver side door closed all the way...hence the reason the body lines look like they don't match :X

That looks very good! Nice job!! Wish I could do that. You & your car rocks!!!!
Take pictures or polish your car up like that. You won't have to with the new paint.

Mystikal, I read your post a long time ago! Now I'm thinking something different though!
Are you meaning if I polished my car up, I would not need new paint? Or are you saying this? Since I'm getting new paint, I will not have to do this to it? Sorry, I'm VERY SLOW now!

If it was the 1st one. By time I bought my car, it was too far 'gone'! There was nothing that could be done. That was the 1st question I asked my painter, my cousin.

#2. I will try to keep it swirl free for as long as I can! I just cannot clean it as much as I would like to now! With my vertigo how bad it is, staying upright while walking takes every thing in me.

Sorry, need you to explain a little more. Thanks!

Didn't mean to confuse you. No, I knew you had bought it and the paint was kinda bad. Should look clean as heck when you get it back though, kinda like a new car.

I actually just got my car re-tined...it used to be at 2% when I got it but it looked real crappy and I couldn't see out my rear window it was bubbling so bad...but anyways (lol) it's at 4% now

yes ma'am.

It's a great car, and the build up of it was impressive.

Hopefully my project will be finished up by next year, and look half as good as that
