ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It feels so awesome to actually hear it run again. No leaks no big issues at all that I had been worrying about for awhile. The only hang up that I have to deal with is the fact that b/c of the custom exhaust set up the Magnaflow system does not quite fit the system is now to long. But what I am going to do is get the brakes bled and make it so I can at least drive it and then take it to the exhaust shop where I had the prochamber modified and have them set it up so it all fits. Here are a few videos. The first one is just after the initial start up with just the long tubes on and the second is after the timing and idle was adjusted and the prochamber hooked up.

everything seemed to be going well until I started to bleed the brakes today and the rear passenger side caliper started pissing fluid out of it. Not sure what its issue is or if it needs to be replaced. Car cannot be driven until the brakes are bled.

No kidding everything else is done ( except putting the sway bar back on the rear end) but other then dropping it off the jack stands its ready to be driven but with a leaking caliper and the whole system needing to be bled out its wont be going anywhere yet. I did put the magnaflow mufflers on it today. Could not get the tail pipes to fit properly, its really close but it will need some fab work to get it to actually work. But once I get the cats welded on if its quiet enough I'm just going to leave it dumped for awhile. Sounded pretty good with the Magnflows and the prochamber.

Hoping to head down to the dyno shop on tues and leave it with them for awhile to fix the exhaust put the cats in and make sure its good to go for a tune. Right now it just has the magnaflows dumped. Still working out a few issues with it but over all its getting there.

Got the livewires put on this afternoon. That was the last thing to complete the engine upgrades. I will forever hate putting a spark plug wire boot on cylinder #8. holy f'ing christ can it be anymore difficult? Took it for at test drive b/c when installing a few of the wires I noticed some loose spark plugs. They could be moved back and forth by hand. Had a feeling it was part of my lack of power issue I had on the last test drive...........I was right, it pulls good now.

Haha, I remember doing the #8 plug on my Windsor. It made me want to pound my balls flat with a deadblow hammer.

I found out it was actually easier for me to do it from underneath the car. For real.

Anyway. Neat motor.

Thanks paul, hopefully the "neatness" Pumps out some good power. Serioulsy I would have welcomed a blow to the nuts with a mallet then trying to get that stupid boot to click on the end of that spark plug.

It did look more easy from the bottom and I did consider it but I got it on by wedging something beween the brake booster and the boot and using the booster for levearage and pressed it on. Pretty sure its on there good enough lol

I did it with a stubby 3/8" ratchet that had a hinged handle. There's enough room with the handle pointed down and toward the back of the car to make it workable... sort of.

Trust me, I feel your pain. I had forgotten about the stupid spark plug boot. God. That was even worse. I'm so glad I don't have to do that anymore.

I'm sure your motor will make some good power. Be sure to post the before/after numbers and such. It will be cool to see what happens.

Paul.

I still have the old graph. I'll post up a thread in the dyno section when its all done. Should be in a few weeks. Hopefully taking it to the shop this week and they are finishing up the exhaust stuff and I'll be going back down for the tune.
