headlights flickering and shutting off while driving

i was on the freeway this evening and my headlights started to flicker and cut off.. It seems like everytime i hit a small bump or something they would flicker and shut off. It did it while it was in park aswell recently. seems like a loose wire or something. sup?

Might be yer headight switch going out............

it is more than likely the dimmer switch.. i had to swap that out on my X's car when she had the same problem... very easy to change out too

could also be the head light sw wiring pigtail. They melt
