No, just take it out of the intake, leaving the MAF element in the housing.

security torx, but you dont need to take it apart, usually. are you running the stock one, or aftermarket?

Stock I believe. Its on my cold air intake..and just take the two screws off and clean the sensor as it still rests on the pipe?

well, you can take the sensor out of the pipe, just dont touch the wires. they should be silver, not black. If you remove the two screws you can pull it gently out of the MAF housing.

Explain the radiator to me. I get the fins, and the square chambers below it..if I did bend a fin in the radiator, itll leak? Why the hell is that thing leaking??! UGHH!!!!

the thin tubes are the only things that carry fluid there in the center, the tanks just hold it all, and hook up to the hoses. its possible to puncture the thin tubes by ripping the fins on a cheaper radiator.

Hmm..Idk. I picked up a ready rad radiator from advance auto for 87 dollars. Says itll fit my car but looks a little funny..So ill have to see if itll fit.

I tried not to bend any of the fins when putting those zip tie like pieces through the radiator to mount the fan..Guess ill be extra careful this time..any other way to mount the fan besides that?

Um, not really. I guess you could build brackets for it, that would work pretty well.

------------UPDATE------------

Changed out my TPS sensor..no luck there.

Then changed my MAF with a stock one off a 89 mustang GT..And its running better. Not doing the shuddering like it used to but its still popping and backfiring a bit when giving it throttle. I'm gonna check the plugs tomorrow..but I think I'm onto something. I think I still need to get 24# injectors and a matching MAF.

A matching MAF to the 24# injectors will help TONS, along with setting your TPS to .98v and setting your timing to 12-14 ahead with the spout conector out, and setting your fuel pressure to 38# with the vacuum disconnected.

Well the MAF we used had been dropped on the ground, so we didnt know if itd work. But like I said its miles better than before..I'm pretty sure the maf that was on the car was completely wrong to begin with. I thought the fuel pressure was supposed to be 42 off vacuum? and now I think the fuel is turned up a bit..I need to get a fuel pressure gauge for my car, had to give the one I was borrowing back. Im definately on the right track..

I noticed my new breather I got is spewing oil onto my header . I need to make it have a better seal.. I found 24# injectors and a matching MAF from ford racing brand new for 299..So if all else fails Ill probably do this.

nice price on the maf/inj. IM dead sure that its supposed to be 38 psi. I would leave the stock schrader valve there and get one of the fuel pressure tester kits from the auto parts store, the gages mounted on the fuel rail will leak over time.... lighting your car on fire... not cool.

So maybe the backfiring...is because its rich? And that maf we put on did help? And I just need to turn down the fuel pressure?
