Top doesnt work on the Cali one either. To reach the top cylinders you have to pull the interior side panels and its not fun. Did it to my old 94. And if they left the system with no fluid in it for a while its likely the pump and other cylinder are toast too. I replaced my Pump, the one cylinder blew, then a week later the other one blew. And it blew Trans fluid all underneath the rear seat and that was TONS of fun to clean up.....

Pull the top motor. That's what I did. Mine kept blowing relays. Pulled the motor, did the top up and down myself a couple times to clear the fluid, now it's manual. It's pretty light actually.

says the dude witha built motor and a blower? ?? ? ? ? LOL!O!L!O!LO!L

anyways, welcome! I, too, suggest a V8. They aren't as quick as they sound - especially in a convertible. They'll be fast enough to merge onto the highway at a safe speed, but slow enough you dont make the hubby pee his pants.

Yea...dude with built motor and blower and probably still runs 13s. lol ;) Did you ever run that car?

I don't think anyone is under rating the old v6 mustangs...theyre just dog shit slow without some serious work/ power adder.

You've got the sn95 singleports making like 145-155hp and running like 16s/17s...the split ports are a bit better but I know my buddys auto ran 16s in stock form....with a stick and a good driver id still think its a mid 15 second car or so?

Sorry but its not like people run around calling them slow and then run 13s....they are ****ing slow. lol

NPI and pushrod 5.0 mustangs are also slow in stock form

Fix it...

haha yea...I know, was trying to at least give a few of them some credit but you're right.....by todays standards all these older cars are slow as poop.

The new 3.7 V6 running 13s and the Coyotes running 12s stock really made the older models seem slower.
