Help me Identify these 2 thing please.

They both are on the passenger side, the rubber rip apart is happent both driver and passenger, and the red color leak is only on the passenger side.






can you guys tell me wat those is and how to fix it ? if the pix is too big, my bad, it look small on my 24inch lcd .

One of them is your spring for your suspension and the other one is your steering rack for your steering.

top one is a lower ball joint, lower is spring and bellows boot ( or a rack boot ), if you got fluid on you spring, check you strut to see if that isnt the cause.

strut and sping is on it way out, how do you replace the ball joint ?

replacing ball joints on our cars sucks...its basically pressed in...I would get it done somewhere, dont waste your time.

Or you could just buy some cobra control arms. Just a thought. It would most likely be cheaper than having someone doing it.

I agree that the Terminator LCAs are a deal.

But if you wanna replace the BJ's, you can 'loan out' a tool from the parts store to do it. It's not a bad swap (I do them with the LCA on the car).

As noted, the end seal on your rack is leaking. It's generally better money to get a fresh rack (most parts store racks will include inner tie rods). You can get new outer tie rods if you like, and you'll need an alignment afterwards. Dont forget to get some decent rack bushings. I've been using poly lately.

Dude a reasonable set of ball joints will run you about $110,for as much just get new 03 cobra A-arms. they are no more than $140 new and shipped.

IMO you might aswell just upgrade.

I english is bad, I cant have a good conversation on the phone :crying:. btw cobra and 98 gt have the same low control arm ? i mean they fix the same ?

Dude those are the Rear Lower Control Arms,the ones you need are the A-Arms
