Haha keeping priorities straight. I talked to my brother today and we may make it out saturday for the show if we have time
I'll be out there somewhere! may end up being a little late because I might be moving some stuff into my new house but I'm going to try and get that outta the way as early as possible. Should be a good time

Thanks man! There's plenty more to come, I just don't know how much of my list I'll be able to get through before I have to head back to school. Gotta save up a little bit of beer money

my car is in storage for that exact reason.... gotta plan for the future. pistons dont blend into baby formula very well. .. . . .. LOL.

Lol true that. I'll be able to tie up all the loose ends and get it exactly how I want it next season. Then maybe add some more cubes

Won't be able to go to the track tonight because of weather, or next week because of nationals. But paint should be in tomorrow

Monday bump...painting the trunk pretty much as we speak. Plugs and transfluid this week too, track next wednesday.

Wish List for the next year:
AEM wideband
LMM drag bags
MSD 2-step
Hurst line lock
UPR subframe connectors
Devils Own Meth kit
Summit manual exhaust cutouts
Blue oval chips tune
MM rear coilovers
Aluminium driveshaft
McLeod clutch
Rear seat delete
Kirkey economy seats w/ covers
Anderson power pipe modded to work on a '95
Going to put the car on a diet and try to shuck some weight off for next season too
and if things really go well a set of weld rt's for the track or some ccws for the street, I'd like to trade my street setup for something different (17'') and put some hoosier DRs on the back for the street

Wingless trunk done! love the way it turned out. On street tires right now so I will get more pics on the drag setup at the track, but it should look pretty good!

Now here's some car porn from street car takeover Indy...First car is my buddy's cobra making about 690 with no spray. He ended up beating the nitrous viper and stangkillers procharged C7 (was running out of fuel at 5200rpm). You should be able to see the videos on youtube sometime soon because 1320video was riding with him all night!

Alrighty here's the slip from the other night, I wasn't too happy with the times but it was my first time on the strip and the car needs a tune pretty bad. Going out again this wednesday and going to give the clutch a little harder pop. Also I go through the gates right at the top of 3rd with the 3550. QTPs were at about 23ish psi

Thoughts, tips, tricks, ect all appreciated. BTW pulled a plug and it's looking on the rich side, probably wont be able to get the car tuned until spring so I'm just going to go to the track a few more times to work on my driving and hopefully put up some better numbers next season. Or donate plenty of plasma and see if I can get the $600+ I need to get tuned by blue oval before the tracks around here close

So I've been fighting electrical issues at school, which makes it a lot tougher because I don't have my garage and all my tools. The circuit breaker for my trunk cutoff was blow causing the car to only be on battery power. So I replaced that and went to start it up and burned up the ICM, replaced that and went to start it up and burned up the CCRM, going back tomorrow to test the starter and distributor.

Really nice looking car. :headbang:

Appreciate it!

New starter did the trick. New MSD cap and rotor going on soon as well. Took of the wire that ran from the alt to the switch that was causing issues, so now the switch only cuts off the battery(should still pass tech around here). I'll be heading back to the strip in the next few weeks, kind of waiting for it to cool off some

Opened up the cowl which was fiberglassed over for some reason. Can't work on getting through my to do list as fast as I'd like to because I'm back at school. Fall break I'll be dropping the IRS to fix a diff leak and while I'm in there I might as well take a coil off the springs. Also need to order a different trunk cutoff switch and get that wired back up. Hopefully get some cut outs, a line lock, and a rough tune before it starts getting too cold. Heading back to the track in a week or 2 though.

First off, I love the irs swap. For some reason I get all sorts of happy seeing people swap out the Flintstones axle for the irs.

Secondly, why make the cowl functional if you don't have the air filter right there to use the incoming fresh air? A functioning cowl induction hood on a car not set up to utilize the air intake in that location is kind of pointless. All you are doing is filling your engine bay with air. That air will heat up and create lift, as it's only exit from the engine bay is under the car. Cowl hoods are for carburetor engines, usually.

Not trying to start an argument about cowl hoods, just wondering if you had a particular reason to making it functional.

Great looking Cobra, though. And good call ditching the spoiler. Wibgless SN = sexy.

Thanks, appreciate the compliments on the car. Might go back to the SRA for racing purposes but thats awhile off. Or leave it as is and build a notch.

The S/C intake filter is near the cowl. But for the most part I just thought it looked crappy when the fiberglass was covering it up and the hood is supposed to be cut there so I did it. Also might keep it a little cooler in traffic. There're plenty of EFI cars with cowls (even some factory cars now), I've seen them used more for clearance opposed to functional air flow for a carb. Who knows it's only 2 holes

Still sits a little bit too high in the back on street tires, but should look pretty good once a coil comes off. Then it'll pull off the wingless look 100%.

This is awesome. Question, does the IRS bolt in directly into the 95? What other changes are needed?

Thinking about putting an 8.8 back in over my christmas break. So if anyone knows where to get a good 8.8 or wants a mint IRS, after I get it out, let me know.
