I drive about an hour every other weekend or so for the "local" meet.

just cause you go to a meet doesnt mean you have to race. plenty of people hang around chat about cars etc.. and dont go race.

eh, I am just not a fan of the area in general lol.

and I think you guys are confusing a 40 min. drive for you, and what 40 mins for us is.

40 mins could be 5 miles. But we get stuck at every single stop light in town, etc. etc.

A 40 min. non-stop or minimal stopping cruise, wouldn't be so bad.

I still hang with the same people who "street race" I just don't go out to the actual spot where they run. After having the same group of car buddys since I was 16ish its hard to hang with a group that rather talk about non go fast stuffs OsW might be open again soon I hear so maybe we can have a king of the track sn95forums orlando chapter lol
