I picked this stuff up at home depot after I saw it on the corral, cost about $18. It helped that I don't have the radiator and fan installed and I also removed the ground bolt that goes to the timing chain cover.
that is pretty f'n cool and the oil tap is something I wanted to do. My temp sensor has the ability to monitor a 2nd sensor and I have one so I will try and get that hooked up to the oil for shits/giggles. THanks for sharing.
the temp module/gauge has the ability to monitor two different liquids temps at the same time. I have a 2nd sensor so I will hook it up to the oil temp just because I can. Not sure what being able to see the water and the oil temp will do for me but who knows.
That new PLX touchscreen gauge looks pretty cool, $200 gets you the gauge and AFR I believe and it's able to monitor 16 different modules at the same time.
got the fittings, fuel pressure was an easy install. Now I have been lookin for the oil sender, do you guys get at that from the top or teh bottom as I can't even see it from the top....
I got it from the front, but dont have a radiator on yet, so I had lots of clearance. I also removed the ground bolt. I think I used a 21 or 22mm socket to unscrew the sensor.

Just got off my back in the driveway after putting it up on the ramps. I have a 24mm but it isn't a deep-well so it isn't long enough to tell if it is going to fit or not. I don't have that size deep-well and need to get it for this, anyone have any idea where to look to confirm its size before I go buy the wrong bit?
Question #2, how much oil am I going to loose while unscrewing this while the oil is full(and on ramps).
Don't stick the ratchet all the way into the socket, let it go until it reaches the safety bearing on the ratchet or whatever it's called, should give you enough length so you can unbolt it.
I just went out and bought those two rachet bits. Got home and by the time the motor cooled off enough had to go out for moms birthday dinner. Its on the ramps in the garage now, hope to try it out later.
neither of those bits fit. Incase anyone in the future wants to know there is a special bit just for removing those sensors, $4 at napa. Now I need to go back to ace and get a 45 degree adaptor as there is no way that it will fit straight out.
