So i won these on ebay, because mine are shot. Sick of my GF asking me to let down and up her window.. and sick of my lock switches not working.

I have no idea how to install these. On the 97 GT i remember a notch being somewhere on the door panel, but on the 95 there is no notch.

Any ideas?

thanks

Pry the highest corner of the door cup out with a small screwdriver, pull entire door cup out, unscrew switch

What part of installation are you having trouble with? Just getting the door/switch panel open?

I havent got them yet, but i was trying and didnt feel like breaking any clips or anything. Just the starting. Going to try "joekd" method soon

Got the driver side off, now it wont go back on. The SOB was always loose, but i just found ever clip broke and it was held on by velco strips.

Anyway, there is a crap load of wires on the back of the switches. How do you remove those?
Sometimes i wonder about my car. Air bag SRS part held on by velco on one edge.. now this.

Every exterior body panel is missing clips. Makes me think was this car restored from something nasty.
Never know with me being the 7th owner

Really? What about the door cups mentioned in this thread? Seems like a lot of velco for a mustang.

not supposed to be any velcro behind the door cups, just clips, so thats not factory.

my clip broke but I was able to fix it with a screw and never looked back. Where the clip in the back use to go there is a slot in the metal just big enough for a speed clip to snap into place and lock in fairly well. With a simple black screw that you hardly see it has not bothered me since.

Thank guys. That was a easy fix. When i compared the driver door cup to the passenger side.. EVERY plastic clip was broke+the metal clip @ the bottom of the cup was gone, so nothing is holding it in place expect velco lol.

Now time to replace my broken dash pod clock with a working one. I missing my pod clock
