I'm talking about the big black plastic piece between the windshield base and the hood.

I've gotten as far as remove the wiper arms... can't figure the rest out. Have a bunch of pine needles stuck in there that I want to clean out. Probably something super simple I haven't figured out yet

When i had to change the wiper motor there are some bolts along the firewall and i think you need to remove the strut twoer brace as well,i cant remember exactly but its something like that.

I could def. see that being true, there's that plastic piece along the back of the firewall that I think has to come off- and the strut tower brace keeps you from removing it.

Got it! I'm going to do it later in the week, I'm feeling like crap (sick and losing my voice) so I have no motivation to do it now lol

when you put it back on do you have to put any sealant between the window and it? :dunno:

I'm thinking not, there is a thin rubber piece at the top of the cowl that seals the plastic panel to the windsield.
