My pet peeve is when a Honda/4cyl guy says he put "headers" on his car. It's only got one head!Exhaust manifolds are usually made from cast iron, and are big, bulky, and not designed for optimum flow. Headers are normally tube steel with a separate tube from each exhaust port to a common collector, this arrangement helps with flow, and scavenging, thus helping the engine to produce more power.
It's just a pet-peeve of mine when manifolds are called headers when they're really completely different.
