To any body that says they like my car, I of course say thanks! I right away throw in the, "You want to buy it?" So far, I've only had 1 teenage girl ask for a price. I think I blurted out $6K or $7K? She said she'd ask her dad, kinda even forgotten who the girl was. I know she works @ the DQ, though. Just because I can't remember her, she does me. If somebody ever gets serious, how much should I ask? I just did the NADA thing. I think it said $5400? It's still a pretty strong car. Sure I've had a few probs, I think that's all mainly user error on my part. My car's info:
95 Mustang GT Conv
127K miles
Y'all know my add ons, don't really think it adds to the book value?

I just went blank, ask if there needs to be more info. Thanks!!

hmm id think around 6500 would be reasonable, especially because of the new paint and body work.

Hold onto it. People are having to knock 1/3+ off even the book value of cars to move stuff these days.

I just love black cars. If I could find a buyer, I would let it go yesterday. I like my car, just know I can live w/o it. Like I said, I think people kinda think I am joking when I say that. Totally serious. Just trying to get an idea. I am for the most part extremely happy with my car!! Thanks!!

It would be easier just to paint it black than to go through the hassle of selling, buying a "new" used car, and fixing the inevitable problems with that.

The shop that did my work could not do the full body color swap. I'm way too OCD & anal to have Laser Red door jams & an engine bay!! I even asked Josh if they could find a cool way to paint it & leave that stuff in my E9.

wait, so you waited all those months while your car was in the body shop, and had it all built up to exactly how you want it, aside from the paint color preference, and you'd turn around and sell it just like that? of all the people on this site, i thought you would have been most attached to your own car more than most anyone else, after having to wait so long just to get it back.

That's just the thing. Before, I was so into just my car! Y'all have no real idea the BS I went through to get it!! I'll spare the details, it was just a bad 2-3 years! But I really didn't miss my car that much while it was away. Maybe because I knew the fact that my best friend/cousin had it! Sure I was happy to get it back. Out of the 227 days, I was w/o a ride like twice. That sucked, but because I had a vehicle, didn't really miss it. It being away that long & the fact I really didn't care, just taught me that I wasn't really as gung-ho on my car.

I love the Laser Red now that is new, though! I'm just upset with the minor probs I've had with it. Like I said earlier, my mom & sister about the biggest f'ing drama queens on the planet! I try not to be like them, but occasionally it rubs off!

If it stays running right for just 1 week, that would be HUGE!! Haven't really had time I could just get in it & go.

Depends how fast you want to move it and how much these cars go for in your area. I'd say 8,500 OBO and work your way down. Just give it a deep cleaning from bumper to bumper paying attention to all the little things. Clean and Armor All (original formula/water based) all seals/gas tank cover, wheel wells, remove & clean the barrel of all rims, door jams, underside of hood/trunk.

Thanks. I don't use Armour All, though. It's too oily! I now use Meguiar's Something. I washed it yesterday. I might wash it again in a little bit. I missed more places than I normally do.

Armour All Original is water based not oil based so it should dry to the touch. I believe Megs is also water based.

All I know is because I can't remember crap, I live by Post-It Notes! They will stick to my Meguiars stuff. Won't even begin to on the AA. Not arguing cuz I honestly don't have a clue. All I know is what I know.

Welcome to owning a modified car. Any car you plan on owning and "souping up" even a small bit is going to be like this. I'd suggest just picking up a DD if you don't have one now and continue tinkering with the Mustang. For me, making the Mustang the weekend fun car and not the daily driver took so much stress away and really let me love it again. Less miles, less potholes, less rain means less things breaking. No pressure to fix it on the weekend to get it ready for Monday work, etc.

I hope to buy a 4 cylinder 90-93 coupe for my DD. If I get another 5.0, there's no way I could not put my $ into it. This way I can keep up with my buys on my 95 GT.

I'm hoping maybe in say 4-6 months, I can begin to save up. If I was smart, I would start right now. I'm not though, so I won't!

I barely have the brain power to walk. If I had to put much thought into shifting gears, bad stuff would happen!! Before my wreck, I hated GT's w/Auto trans!!! Now, I kinda love them! I just need to keep my focus on the road.
