more than $200 they're pretty rare heads even if they are the 2v and still flow much better than almost any. I really don't know the pricing but more than $200

What year heads are they. The early 70's heads flow great. All they need is a clean up. They are worth more than $200.00 depending on the year. I think 71-72 flowed the best.

All of the US made 2V heads are open chamber which promotes detonation issues in Clevelands. That is why the Aussie 302C 2V heads with their closed chambers are so valuable. The 2V's are better for a street engine than 4V's and stock stroke but the open chambers are a pain.

US 2V Clevelands are not considered anything special. If someone wants to give you $200 - $250 for them, without valve springs, or even with questionable valve springs, I would take it. How much did you pay for the valves? That should factor in too.

In the past 4 years I've become rather "researched" in 351C's as I have one (from Australia) and am going to be building it for my Aussie project car.

The US 2V heads will have open combustion chambers which means that the chamber shape will practically be a whole round pocket instead of a wedge shape. If they were Aussie heads you never would have got them for $200.

I've got a Cleveland built up for my 67 project.
I did new valves & seats, all new parts, roller rocker conversion, and ported the exhaust size to match the hookers.
left the intake side cast. rough in, smooth out.

Build thread and more specs in the thread linked at the bottom of my sig.
