Hello,

I want the Steeda one. Anyone have opinions on it?

http://www.steeda.com/products/steeda_gt_cold_airt_96-04.php

In fact it look like another CAI, the price is high at $256.45, it's not available for 94-95.

The only CAI who is very different is the JLT, I dont know if it's worth the price.

The MAC is less expensive at $170.00 :

http://www.macperformance.com/store/product1.cfm?SID=3&Product_ID=170

What is the best choice for a 94-95 ?

Ebay kit whit a K&N : $70.00
MAC : $ 170.00
JLT : $ 210.00
BBK : $ 180.00
UPR : $ 139.00

The Ebay kit is probably the better for the price, the chrome quality is low but it's do the job.

I guess I never thought it would change up the sound. Can someone tell me how it will? I think there is some sort of a factory silencer thing. I guess this will take that out, I think.

the aluminum gets hots on the bbk/mac/ebay kits.

My friend had a AEM intake on his RSX and when that bitch hit VTEC that thing was loud as hell (no ricer) sounded good as it was the only mod he done to it.

I dont see how they are hot air intakes. Sure it may not be the same exact temp as where it pulls it from, but the air travels too fast through the pipe to make it HOT.

if they were bad to have aluminum ones i doubt everyone would make there product out of it. as said above the air moves to fash for it to heat up to much. BTW mine doesnt get hot.

It came by FedEx today! The thing is freaking red though! I hate red! I know my car is red, just not looser-sooner red though! This is! Other than the coupler things, the thing was brand new! Can I buy new plastic stuff and make it work? I just thought of that!

In terms of performance, you're better off with a stock airbox and a K&N filter.
