WTF you can't use it more than once I used it on mine and it scratched THE f**k out of the paint everywhere I used it and I didn't notice it til after I washed off the places where I used it. Now I have scratches all over my hood and fenders!! It's 6 month old paint and then I go and do this shit, f**k!.. I tried some polish over it but It doesn't really do shit. I guess I'll have to try and get my friend to buff it with his orbital.
Mr. OAM said:In the instructions it tells you how to knead the clay and fold it and knead again to get a new clay surface to use. When you can't make a clean surface anymore you are done.
Why are you using claybar on a 6 month old surface? It is for getting out grit that has embedded into the paint over time. In the 5 years we've had my wife's 66 with clearcoat it has never been dirty long enough for anything to get embedded in it. Claybar is for removing nasties embedded in a neglected paint job. It's not a regular use item. THink of it as "paint finish reconditioning". A 6 month old paint job should be like new.
