I have a 95 cobra with full exhaust,3:73 gear cold air, throttle body. What would be the best route or setup to go 11:500 in my car?

Its a full rear suspension set up to make your car launch like no other. Relocated upper control arms, adjustable lowers and an anti roll bar.

I was kinda thinking I would need boost or nitrous. Would that full rear suspension make my car handle bad on the street

How much is a full rear suspension these days anyways?

I'm sure with some boost, lower & upper control arms, and some sticky tires you could hit 11.5.

I got all of that and 10lb of boost and I'm not mid 11s yet lol

you can have all the parts in the world but if you dont get the car to hook and all the parts to hold you wont run..... A good friend ran 11.88 in his mach with gear, and tire in a stick car.... it can be done

Yea a mach weighs more. but you can still make similar power with what I had said. tune, long tubes, k member, gear and a good bit of tire and youll run it.

Thats far from the norm for a mach 1. Usually with a tire, gear and minor bolt ons they are lucky to see a 12.5-12.8 I'm not saying it didn't happen, just that thats exceptional. Maybe with some significant weight reduction and lots and lots of seat time.

Honestly I think it will take much more to do the same is a 95 Cobra. If it was me, I'd think you will need more power, like 350ish at the wheels, bare minimum.

The other big issue is do you still want to car to be streetable? Is this a daily driver, or a dedicated drag car?

The difference is that the 4v in a mach loves gear, and actually benefits a lot from 4.30+ gearing due to their higher in the rev range powerband. In a stockish 95 Cobra I dont see the gears being as significant of a help.
