Long filters fit vertical in front of the wheel. Up side is more air can get in, and it's cooler air from outside the engine bay. The down side is it puts the end close to the rain/puddles if you ever get caught not paying attention. My intake goes into the fender then turns down 90 degrees to allow the elongated K&N on the end.

mine does the same, but its only 6 inches long and still rubs on my front bumper. :-[ lol. cant imagine fitting that 15 inch monster in my hole. i mean, fender.

Let me know how you like them, I did a lot of research trying to decide whether or not I wanted the NT05s or the kumho XS...seem pretty similar, about the same treadwear rating.
Ive heard a lot of great things about the nt05 then at the same time I hear people saying they arent that good.
I ended up going with the kumho xs mostly because I hate how nitto tires always run thin and wanted a true 315 and because I could order them and have them installed at the same place.
Also the nitto comes with like 7/32 tread life new and i feel like they will last me 10k miles.
Just got the NT01's installed and i am VERY pleased. Right after the tire were installed I filled up the tank and drive 160 miles of canyons, A-roads, and freeways.
I can now nail in 2nd with great grip. 1st gear still spins but much improved.
I will post a review later this weekend.

Justin, The treadwear on these NT05's are crazy low. I felt a pair of NT01's at the same time and the rubber both feels pretty close to the same.
I will let you know how they wear. It was either the NT05 or the Falken 615K.

Actually, people who know what they are talking about seem to matter, and people who have 11,000 posts of pure crap seem to be made fun of.
I have Kenne Bell & 11,000 Posts..... I can say anything i want just because of those 2 factors.
funny thing is you have over 11,000 post and yet still, noone cares what you think!!!!!!
maybe some of us actually have real lives outside of this forum, as well as real mustangs, and real stories, and real videos..........man the list just keeps goin on an on..................
