intake spacer question

i got a 1" spacer for my cobra intake, i got a question? my egr is hooked to the headers, if i raise it 1" will then the tube that connects the egr to the headers be too short? do they make a longer tube or do i have to ditch the egr and block it off?

Yes the tube will be too short.
I put a 1" spacer in mine as well.
I cut mine in the centre of the straightest part of the tube (a little below half way down) and then used a 5/8" compression union.
It worked great and gave the tube the extra inch it needed.
You can't even see it because it's hidden under the piece of heat wrap on the tube.

Unless you're in a strict emissions state like me(nj) just delete the EGR altogether. I have to keep it and it sucks... The advice above is correct although I've also heard you can stretch it a bit to work the the spacer.

Its the hood you have to worry about amazingly, obviously the egr and tube are close, but fixed, whereas the damn hood bounces up and down real close to the manifold etc. :)
