looks like an e-penis competition to me..and i'm gonna think this thread will be locked because you are inciting a flame war between boards which we don't need becuase you want to talk about how big each other's e-penis is.

And you see the reason I don't frequent there very much. If you try and even talk about building a NA motor, you get told you are stupid, wasting your time and money, blah blah blah. If I wanted to build a supercharged motor I would ask about a supercharged motor. Most of the info you get from over there, is regurgitated from what someone read somewhere else. Now if you are looking for the best wheels or exhaust... That's the place to go. Also, if you want to know which is better 3.73's or 4.10 LMAO

Usually if I have a question about something and I can't find an answer, I'll PM one of the more knowledgeable members over there.

I can't say I disagree much with what has been said over there. If you want a powerful naturally aspirated platform, the 4.6 SOHC motor isn't the greatest place to start. Eleven thousand bucks is a lot of money - I don't know if I have that much socked away in my 422 ci windsor and it has much higher quality parts than that thing.

Either way, who cares what happens on another forum?

Paul.

have to agree with this for a N/A motor to be VERY strong it would be wise to go with more than 281 cubes

When I first got my Mustang that was the first site I went to. CobraDan was always very helpful and easy to get along with.

Well theyre all right. 10K for a motor that cant handle more than 400 horsepower is retarded.

I just read through it and i want my 10 mins back....

The reason they treat you the way they do is because you are all over the place in how you present your facts and info etc....
Pick a point and stay on it and have proof of what you know...First mistake was posting anything from the SHM site!!!!
Plus you are stating your HP #'s in Flywheel and nobody does that except old people...use RWHP estimates only from now on :)

I also agree with most of them in that a NA 2V is expensive to build and just adding a blower will give equal or better results.

Well, thank you for providing that link and the advice. I guess I'm old since I always talk about FWHP. Just the boost this and that tangent through me off.
