Is a chip worth it on a bolt on 94 cobra. The car has full exhaust, gear, cai, throuttle body and pulleys. Is a chip worth it also if it is what would be the best chip for my car and how much do they cost?
I probably would not if that is the point you are at now.
Around here chips are usually $600 that includes the chip, dyno time. I got my car tuned just because I changed my trans to a PA trans and a new converter. My PA trans has different gears then a regular AOD-E so I needed the tune
I would only use Diablosport or SCT if you decide to do it.
unless you plan on doing more to your car like getting the heads and intake ported or even getting different ones or going supercharged/nitrous then yeah its worth it after its all done, but when its mostly stock then you can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and tweek the fuel pressure a bit and advance the timing yourself
