I've had to adjust and grow to like every part of my car it seems. The hood was to big at first, now i like it. The exhaust to raspy, but now I like it. The automatic was to slow, but now i like it. Slowly but surely i'm having to adjust to this car lol I love it though, V is my baby. Just took a while to get in a good mood about it :behind: anyone else have the same deal. I was "given" or traded the car, so I didn't have that much choice but oh well, i love her now. Care to share :drunk:

I would agree.....i felt like swapping ym 5-speed just to make more power to the wheels and not mess with the auto but I actually will never change it out.

i had a similar experience, first it was the payment, then insurance, then it being slow, then it sitting high, then all the problems with it, then parts not fitting right, then losing to a camry, then power seat breaking in the farthest up position(im 6'1"). but after its all said and done, i love it :rockyou:. i prolly couldnt bring myself to get rid of it.

The way i see it about the automatic... is you can always make more power, drive to track, keep it in D, and be consitent. And then, drive home in D.. and not kill your leg. It's a 40 mile trip to a 1/8th mile track.. close as I got to a track

Dido....I am only 35miles from the nearest 1/8th mile and I just go out there and leave in D and have some.

i like the consistancy of my auto at the track as well ...i have a knee injury from hockey years ago and messing with my centerforce dual friction clutch in the vert almost makes me cry after a long trip of stop and go.....its the main reason i searched for a auto this time...and the lady wanted to drive the car and she sucks at driving a 5 speed...so it was a win win...its just the damn color haha hopefully this winter she will be my new color...
