Oh nice man that looked great, I use to have anthracite bullets on mine but the fronts and backs were different colors so I painted them black to match

Id paint the outter section of your hood red and leave the actuall cowl part black. I think thatd look pretty good.

I dont know what brand I got it from mustangsunlimited I think on there website the part number is " 16612RR " Im pretty sure thats the one its close to a 3.5in rise

Well going tommorow 5/2 to hopefully get the hood painted finnaly im tired of the black hood. A local guy I got hooked up with is going to do it and maybe paint the
whole car next year but this will have to do for now.
Ill post some pics in here and in the members rides section once its painted.Here is what it will hopefully look like, Big thanks to "Detriot" for doing this for me.
I may go 1/2 lower in the front with a chrome pony and new 2011 5.0 badges but idk tell me what you think.

Update 5/6 Ok so I got the hood painted but the guy who mixed the paint screwed something up and got it too dark. So now im just gonna paint the whole car in a single stage urithane . The car is no longer a daily driver it only gets driven 20 or less miles a week and stays in the garage and dosn't see rain. so im not worried about the paint fading ,I will get a real paint job in a year or two. So here is a pic of the hood painted.
You can see the difference in color and just how bad the original paint really is.
Ok so now I have been working on the car all day long fixing all of the dents and wet sanding it.I took off the stupid door strips I have hated those things since I got the
car.
I had a really bad dent in the rear passenger quarter panel I dont have a before pic but it was very bad it had about a 1/4 to 3/8 in deep and foot long gash in it.
I worked on it all day and finally got it smooth.I didn't take a pic of it almost completely done.
so I have alot more bodywork left to do before it gets painted gonna either get it painted back rio red or might go with torch red.
I will be getting 2011 5.0 badges and maybe a chrome pony for the grill but I haven't made up my mind yet.
I will be taking pics of the progress here are a couple more.

Oh yeah when its all done im gonna lower the front another 1/4 to 1/2 inch and maybe the back too.I also thought about filling in the mustang gt in the back bumper and tinting the tail lights like this.

Yeah I like it black also ,but I caught a lot of grief with people saying it just looked incomplete . Which it did so I have a few more things planed for the exterior
like some dif wheels and maybe a cobra front bumper but that will be later on.
