Well I think what made the black hood look so good is the chin spoiler, looked awesome to me... But what u got going on with it now is sexy too

Yeah I love the chin spoiler ,I almost bought a cobra front bumper this weekend but I need to quit spending money I got a vacation coming up.

I think that if you detailed the original paint, it would have been a shit ton closer, i mean what can you expect when you put fresh ass paint next to old paint, and not even blend it? or try to paint correct it?? but im sure the outcome from all this will be sick, good luck!

I agree about the old paint next to the new paint ,but when I got it mixed there were 2 variable colors one which was darker and
one which was lighter for faded paint .I told him to go with the lighter one but he went with the darker one .
besides this just gave me a reason to fix some dents and get it painted .The front bumper,roof and side skirts have no clear coat.
it looks much worse in person.

OK I got the car painted and it looks pretty good considering I did all of the bodywork including the pain in the a$$ filling in [ mustang gt ].
Here are a few pics before this weekend when I take some better ones.

And after a ton of work the rear turned out pretty good I got it shaved pretty smooth and the tail lights have a light coat of tint on them
there not dark but just enough ,They will look much better in daylight once I get some pics.

Thanks man I worked pretty hard on the body for 2 weeks to get it right you can still see a few dings here and there if your real close But
I dont car it looks 100% better than it did with all the faded paint and spraypaint lol.

Yeah I love the rear .For along time my car had too much going on im going for more of a simple clean look now
hoping to get it to ROTM status . It should look pretty good in some daylight pics my camera take horrible night pics.

I think you have convinced me to fill the bumper.

If you get a chance could you send me or post here the steps you used to fill in the letters? Did you use a flex additive on the filler/bondo? Did you drill holes into the letters so filler could bond better? Im thinking about a polyester primer to build up better.
