im looking to get cobra front brake on my 94 gt and its cheaper for me to get all the parts separate. so anyways i know that i need to get SS lines, Cobra Master Cylinder, Cobra Pads/Rotors, Cobra Calipers. but do i need to get cobra mounting brackets as well? i think i would sense the calipers and rotors are bigger right?

When I got mine they came with brackets. I think I paid $450 for them and then I got the rotors and ss lines.

i've got cobras on mine w/ rubber lines and the regular gt master cylinder. pedal is a little stiff, but it stops fine, no problems.

calipers, brackets, rubber hoses and rotors can be bought used for less than 300 bucks normally

I would not think so. I would imagine you do not get into those kinds of temps on the street where it becomes really evident that the hose is stretching.

^ that SS looks nice, but is just bling for a street car. You would be able to tell a difference if your rubber hoses are old and stretched, but SS compaired w/ new rubber hose I wouldnt think there'd be any noticable differance.

i changed mine out last night, its not a dramatic night to day difference, but the hydraulics seem to respond faster. less petal effort is required. but like i said its not like i have insane brakes now or anything, its a nice upgrade.
